Cultural Cuisine
As Scotland’s largest city, Glasgow is a noted seller and showcaser of Scottish produce. Some of the country’s top restaurants are here together with a swathe of establishments more modest in price if not imagination and flair. A staggering array of international cuisines includes Modern Scottish and British through several varieties of European, Central and South American, Far Eastern, Indian and Fusion.

Fine Pubs
Fine pubs are here, too: some cater for serious beer drinking, like the Bon Accord in the city centre or the Fox and Hounds, with its own microbrewery and award-winning ales, at Houston; others, such as the Pot Still, specialise in malts.

Glengoyne Distillery
Don’t forget to explore outside the city however, as any visit to Glasgow would not be complete without taking a tour of Glengoyne Distillery. Just north of the city, near Loch Lomond, Glengoyne is open year round and offers a selection of fantastic tours. Try the Masterblender Tour, where guests create their very own blended whisky, or the Cask Tasting Tour, which is specially designed for guests who enjoy tasting, and learning about cask-strength whisky.
