Loch Fyne Oyster Bar (EatScotland Listed) - Start or finish the trail here... kippers for breakfast, seafood platter for dinner. The menu includes shellfish and smoked fish along with white fish dishes. The Loch Fyne Oyster Bar and Shop started in a small shed in the lay-by at the head of Loch Fyne in the early 80's then in 1985 moved into the old cow byre at Clachan Farm. It has appeared in the Good Food Guide ever since.

Local fishermen supply fresh crab throughout the summer, and our langoustines are served simply with a fresh herb dip. Salads are mostly home grown - a mixture of lettuces and herbs. Smoked products come across in a boat from a smokery on Arran - trout and salmon are particular favourites.
