Pool House

Pool HousePool House, a beautiful refuge nestled on the shores of Loch Ewe, has been constructing a traditional Victorian ornamental potager for the past two years. Fruit trees, vegetables and herbs are grown along with flowers to give a decorative effect but the produce is used extensively in the kitchen by chef Dan Hall (3 AA rosettes). Herbaceous borders have vegetables mixed in amongst the decorative plants and the flagstone paths are planted with spreading herbs that look attractive and smell wonderful. This elaborate kitchen garden is remarkable in that it is only 10 feet from the sea and has survived the winter weather conditions. The location also ensures a ready supply of seaweed delivered straight form the sea.
