Kilchoman Distillery

Kilchoman is one of only six distilleries to carry out traditional floor maltings, but the key difference at Kilchoman is that the barley is grown on the farm at the distillery, whereas other distilleries purchase barley from around the country.

Kilchoman is one of the smallest distilleries in Scotland with an annual production of 90,000 litres of alcohol.

Kilchoman is one of only six distilleries to carry out traditional floor maltings, but the key difference at Kilchoman is that the barley is grown on the farm at the distillery, whereas other distilleries purchase barley from around the country.

When mature Kilchoman single malt will be bottled on Islay.

The Island of Islay lies off the west coast of Scotland and is the most southerly of the Hebridean islands. It is famous for its malt whisky distilleries, but also boasts wonderful flora and fauna, a paradise for birds and wildlife, miles of beautiful sandy beaches, as well as an 18 hole championship golf course.
