The Pierhouse Hotel & Seafood Restaurant

Our renowned seafood restaurant has won a reputation as one of Argyll's most idyllic and romantic destinations, with magnificent panoramic views overlooking Loch Linnhe and the islands of Lismore and Shuna.

You may enjoy a glass of wine on the terrace whilst watching the local fishermen land the catch that will be served for dinner. Lobsters, prawns, scallops and salmon are all caught within the local waters of Loch Linnhe and the Sound of Mull. Fresh oysters and mussels are gathered from the nearby island of Lismore, and venison is sourced from local estates.

Add to this our unique ambience, candlelight and the relaxed atmosphere, and you have the most memorable of evenings.

EatScotland Says:

The Pierhouse Restaurant is perched on the shores of Loch Linnhe with magnificent views of Lismore, Shuna and The Morvern Hills serving locally sourced seafood and game, prepared with care and skill.

Paupiette of Plaice and Salmon with mashed herb potatoes and safron sauce:
"The fish was placed on the herb mash and the safron sauce lightly encompassed both." "Fresh, translucent plaice and salmon, the mashed, herbed potatoes were lightly seasoned." "The plaice and salmon were interwoven wonderfully and contrasted well with the earthy potatoes and safron sauce." "Skillfully prepared and presented with care."
