EatScotland Says:
A recently opened venue, The Copper Bowl is an Indian restaurant on the outskirts of Edinburgh that makes a welcome addition to the local food scene. Near to the science park and the world famous Roslin Chapel, with its well cooked and presented food, this is definitely one to try.
Saag Gosht Malaidar:
"Served in its own copper bowl, and although without any additional dressings, it looked fresh and appealing. The Pilau rice, with plenty of vegetables through it, was also served in its own bowl." "The lamb was cooked well to retain some pinkness, and came in a creamy sauce." "A medium spiced dish where the flavour of the lamb was allowed to come through. The coriander and spinach were evident in the sauce, which had a level of spice sufficient to make for a good combination of flavours." "A well cooked dish where it was pleasing to find lamb that was cooked in such a way as to retain the meat's natural colour and texture."
