The Chippy is a casual, family friendly restaurant which since opening in the previously derelict McCormack Lane has offered a fresh, up-market twist on the old chip shop we all know and love. You can enjoy traditional favourites such as battered haddock and cod, all served in a special recipe batter with hand cut chips, mushy peas and tartare sauce. As if that wasn't enough, there is also a selection of soups and salads available at all times. A unique addition to this restaurant is the alfresco dining area, meaning customers can appreciate the sunshine during the summer months.
