There’s always a welcome at the Tannochbrae Tearoom The award winning Tannochbrae Tearoom, established 1994, is a small independently run tearoom situated on the High Street of the Royal Burgh of Auchtermuchty. Used in the filming of Scottish Television’s “Dr Finlay”, the tearoom reflects the style of post-war Britain in its decor and memorabilia. During the day we serve light meals and delicious home baking. In the evening we serve intimate, candlelit suppers available by advance booking.
The Tannochbrae Tearoom is situated in the picturesque village of Auchtermuchty Fife. This teashop has a traditional ambience with bygone artefacts adorning walls and window areas, newspapers are on hand for your convenience. This along with pleasant attentive staff creates an ideal stop for tea and cake, or something more substantial if in the area. Cheese and Ham Toasted Open Sandwich: "The two open toasted ham and cheese sandwiches looked fresh and symmetrical with colourful side salad adjacent." "The ham was of good flaky texture confirming good quality" "The side salad was of good quality and colourful with fresh and unblemished lettuce leaves. The dressing placed separately on the table for the salad was of good consistency and flavoursome."
