Martin Wishart named AA Chef of the Year

Martin Wishart is a Scottish chef and EatScotland member who has been awarded AA Chef's Chef of the Year award 2010.

Owner of Restaurant Martin Wishart, Edinburgh's first Michelin starred restaurant, as well as a Cook School in Scotland's capital and Martin Wishart at Loch Lomond, this acclaimed chef was delighted to be voted for by his peers.

The award was decided on by AA Rosette-awarded UK chefs and presented at the AA Hospitality awards in London's Hilton Park lane.

Wishart and his wife Cecile opened the Edinburgh establishment in 1999 and it holds four AA rosettes, an eight out of ten rating in the Good Food guide and an EatScotland Gold award. In 2001, it earned it's Michelin star.
