Guaranteed Tea Time at The Old Course Hotel
The Old Course Hotel, Golf Resort & Spa is a growing favourite with tea-lovers across Fife and the East Neuk.
And such is the infused popularity, Executive Chef, Simon Whitley, is dedicating Sunday and Monday afternoons at the award-winning Road Hole Restaurant as the permanent venue for hosting afternoon teas.
Simon explains the move, saying: 'We serve afternoon tea in various settings in the hotel, but we have been keen to find a guaranteed venue where our local customers can sit back, relax and enjoy our fabulous afternoon tea experience overlooking the most famous par four in the world.'
The Traditional Afternoon Tea menu is £19 per person. This veritable feast includes Chef's selection of finger sandwiches - including Smoked Salmon, Ham & Tomato, Cucumber & Egg Mayonnaise ' Home-Made Plain Scones, Fruit Scones and Pancakes served with Strawberry & Pink Champagne Preserve and Clotted Cream as well as delicate pastries and cakes, hand-crafted and created by the hotel's own pastry chefs.
And there is tea '¦ almost twenty on the menu including all those you would expect as well as others that are less well known, from Orchid Vanilla to White Ambrosian.
Simon adds: 'Our afternoon teas are a wonderful treat - and we know they will be appreciated all the more by serving them in our stunning Road Hole Restaurant.'
