Connage Highland Dairy is situated on the family farm, Milton of Connage at Ardersier. The state of the art dairy produces quality soft and hard cheeses which include clava brie, crowdie, Dunlop, smoked Dunlop, cromal, gouda and Connage cheddar which have been recognised with awards including Best Traditional British Cheese and Best Scottish Cheese.

The cows feast on a clover-rich diet which gives their milk a full, luscious taste. All Connage produce is organic and fully traceable with excellent quality controls applied from 'cow to cheese'. The highest standard of animal welfare and care for the cows is assured with the same level of attention to detail continued into cheese production. The herd are farmed in the fields around the dairy so you can go and see for yourself!

A state-of-the-art cheese dairy was constructed in 2006 and Connage have been producing and selling a range of organic vegetarian cheeses handcrafted using traditional techniques since. Visit the farm to watch the cheeses being made by hand and take the opportunity to meet the cheesemaker who will be happy to provide talks and tastings.

Connage's shop the Pantry is a cheese lover's paradise. Open Monday to Saturday, you can taste and buy our cheese, local oatcakes and other delicious quality Scottish produce.
