Cairngorm Brewery

The Cairngorm Brewery produces a full range of permanent and seasonal cask beers with a range of products available throughout the year in 500ml bottles. From a rich dark stout to a light continental style, Cairngorm Brewery's beers cover a wide range of flavours and tastes. It employs traditional recipes alongside new and interesting styles, by using old and new malt and hop varieties with new twists.
Since 2001 Cairngorm Brewery's ales have won various awards and accolades, which recognise their dedication to producing quality beers. This includes becoming SIBA (Society of Independent Breweries) Supreme Champion Beer of the Year in 2009. Black Gold, the winning stout, continues to pick up awards and is currently CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ale) Highlands & Western Isles Beer of the Year. This title is jointly shared with one of Cairngorm Brewery's other eight ales, best seller Trade Winds.
The Guild of Fine Food is the UK Trade association for anyone making or selling top quality local, regional and speciality food and drink. The Guild's Great Taste Awards were judged this summer and Black Gold in bottle received 2 stars and Tr
ade Winds received 1 star. In addition the ales have also been Vegetarian Society approved.
