These premises were chosen by my husband as an anniversary treat, and I can safely say it WAS a treat. Indeed I was impressed. Very presentable building inside and out, the food was lovely and the service was attentive and personable. Thank you for a memorable evening.

We celebrated our anniversary at the Mains of scotstown on Saturday. We booked online and requested a table on the balcony. Our food was wonderful and the young girls serving were pleasant and helpful. We were surprised by a bottle of sparkling prosecco on the house and a card from the owner and his team. Just goes to show its worth letting staff know your celebration, as sometimes they go that extra mile for you. Martin, thank you for a lovely evening.

As you would expect on Mothers Day the dining room was busy, however, they welcomed us straight away and showed us to our table. The service was quick and pleasant. The meal was very good and excellent value.

This is a fantastic place to eat out for any occasion. I ventured out here for a birthday meal and the only thing that disappointed me was the lack of Peroni lager (But then again not everyone sells it). The meals were absolutely delicious, the service was well paced and the unpushy. It was an extremely busy saturday night and there was a rather large group of us, even then the banter from the manager in the suit was great. The food was well priced and delicious to go with it, and the local ingredients listed in the menu were obvious when i tasted the food. This is defiantely worth a visit if you want good food and a relaxing night.

Before eating here I took the liberty of looking at some of the reviews online and on the whole they were ok but some pretty bad ones.
Personally I dont think there is anywhere better in Bridge of Don. Abundance of people but very few good places to eat. The restaurant looked fantastic and the food and service were excellent.
We have already booked hogmanay!

Went for my husbands birthday and had an excellent time. Great service, even better food, lovely restaurant. Will be going back. Staff were very attentive, food and drink were very reasonable, so it doesnt have to be a treat to go, therefore all the more reason to well spoil yourself when you there.

It's been a while since I visited this place and I didn't think much of it then. However I went today and it was extremely nice. It was relaxed, with nice staff and the food was worth the money and the wait. Had the duck with an orange and pomegranate sauce, I've never had this before anywhere and I thought it was fantastic. so much so I had to let everyone know.
